Protective Packaging

Protective packaging includes materials that create a buffer around items in a box and protect against shifting, impact, corrosion, moisture, or temperature fluctuations—providing a layer of security around items during shipment or storage. General purpose packaging such as bubble rolls and foam protect fragile items from breakage or scratches, while air pillows, packing peanuts, and paper fill void space in a container and prevent items from shifting during transit. Anti-static packaging prevents the build-up of static electricity that could damage electronics. Temperature-controlled packaging helps insulate packages and regulate the temperature in a container during transport. Corrosion-inhibiting VCI packaging materials prevent rust and corrosion on metal products during shipping or storage. Moisture absorbent packaging such as desiccant bags absorb moisture and help keep items dry.
