Voice and Data

Voice and data equipment organizes, connects, and maintains telecommunications systems. Cabinets and racks house networking equipment such as servers and power-distribution units. Cables and patch cords transmit voice communications and data. Plates, housing, and jacks connect and organize telecom cable. Voice and data tools are used by telecom technicians and low-voltage electricians to test for connectivity and to splice, strip, and terminate cable during installation and maintenance.
