Cutting Fluids & Coolant Systems

Image 1

Cutting fluids and coolant systems lubricate workpieces and cutting tools during machining. Coolant systems deliver a stream or spray of coolant to cool and lubricate the workpiece and remove chips and debris. Coolant cleaners vacuum up spilled or used coolant and debris from machine sumps, tanks, pits, and the areas around machinery. Coolant mixers mix coolant concentrate with water and dispense it to a coolant sump, tank, or reservoir. Cutting oils and additives cool, lubricate, and prevent damage to machinery, tools, or workpieces. Machining layout fluids reduce glare and create contrasting backgrounds that show scribed lines on workpieces during machining. Oil skimmers remove contaminants from coolant, and aerators inhibit bacterial growth and odors in coolant.
